Hello and thanks for stopping by.
Here are some of the dates and things I’m up to in May & June.
I’ll be hosting Be There 4 Yes, Gather For Marriage Equality on Sunday May 10, 2pm, Merrion Square. Amazing musicians and speakers. Don’t miss it.
Two by Two, an animated family feature largely made in Ireland, is in cinemas now. I play Hazel in it and you can watch the trailer here. It’s beautifully made and perfect for little ones, so take them along!
On Monday May 18th I’ll be in Cork for Lightning Bug – a spoken word event – as a Fundraiser for Marriage Equality. 7.30pm at the Everyman. FB event here.
The Sky Cat Laughs comedy festival in Kilkenny runs May 28 – June 1. It’s 21 this year. The first year, I sold programmes & merch just to be able to be there. This year, I’ll be doing improv with these fellas.
Speaking of Improv, Dublin Comedy Improv will be taking part in the Temple Street fundraiser at Vicar St on June 13. It’s always a great night and a great cause. I’ll be appearing with the Improv at our regular home, The International Bar on Monday June 1, June 15 (our birthday show), June 22.& 29.
On Sunday the 14th, I’ll be at Dalkey Book Festival, chatting to Róisín Ingle and Natasha Fennell about their excellent book, The Daughterhood. Tickets here.
I’m doing Body & Soul this year, too, and I’m very excited about it. I’ll be reading from my book You’re Grand: the Irishwoman’s Secret Guide to Life and later making things up with the Improv, all in the brand new Vodafone Comedy Tent.
Other than that, I’ll be in my book bunker, furiously finishing Book II. Should be in your shops by autumn.
And now, back to the bunker.
See you at the shows.
