Welcome to Tara Flynn’s website: the one-stop site for the blogs, news and views of Tara Flynn. It’s taken me a while to get around to it, but here it is. Hope you like. Thanks to Dermot Carmody for all his hard work getting it up and running and bringing me – if not into the Modern Age – at least a little further out of the Dark Ones…
I’ll be blogging here regularly, but to start, here’s my August’s news:
I’m very excited to be gigging with the freshly formed London Comedy Improv next Tuesday (August 11th) and the Tuesday after that (August 18th) at the Phoenix in Cavendish Square, London. I’ll be joined by Brendan Dempsey, John Voce and Rufus Hound. Yay.
Then – STOP PRESS – I’ll be doing stand-up for the first time in about 2 years. Very excited. First, I’ll be at the International Bar in Dublin (at the Comedy Cellar and International Comedy Club, respectively) from August 19th – 22nd.
On the 23rd, I fly over to Edinburgh and dip my toes into the edges of the Fringe waters, by playing the following dates:
- Sunday 23rd – Girls with Guns at the Gilded Balloon
- Monday 24th – Best of Irish at the Stand
- Thursday 27th – Glasgow Stand
- Friday 28th – Best of Irish at the Stand (back in Edinburgh)
